In Brighton for work, in a break between meetings, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to visit Choccywoccydoodah, or better known as the chocolate paradise ;).
It’s a tiny shop selling very unusual and quirky cakes, all sculpted from top quality Belgian chocolate. They have three outlets, two in Brighton, a cafe’ and a shop, and one recently opened in London.
They offer a variety of cakes crafted by a team artist chocolatiers; the smallest available in store was starting from around £40; however, for the bespoke ones, made on customized design, price can vary, but normally starts at around £400.
Cake designs are incredible and include sculls, dogs, decadent flowers such as roses and orchids, and even some dears (my favourite).
They also sell a variety of chocolate truffles, jars of chocolate spreads, and chocolate and marshmallow lollies.
If you don’t feel like traveling to Brighton, you can visit their London Shop just off Carnaby Street, here the Secret Room is now available for hire, which I think could be a pretty unusual idea for hen or birthday parties.
Recommended to all chocoholics!
